It was a unique, once-in-a-lifetime experience, whatever that meant. Fans could enter by simply recording their best musical performance and then tweeting a link to it with a certain hashtag.
For days, a steady stream of submissions poured in from across the region. Alvin, the ‘munk in charge of social media, skimmed through many bland entries in an effort to thin the metaphoric herd.
